Special Projects Coordinator
Jaimee Galvan is the Special Projects Coordinator for the California Education Learning Lab. Her education and career has focused on the health of a community through a variety of lenses: physical health outcomes, educational attainment, rates of criminal activity, etc. Prior to joining the Learning Lab, Jaimee worked as a Programs and Development Manager for the Ventura College Foundation where she oversaw the delivery of student service programs and execution of events. In this role, Jaimee successfully led an initiative to improve the diversity, equity, and inclusiveness of the scholarship program and is excited to continue this work at a larger scale with the California Education Learning Lab. Jaimee holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Behavior from Oregon State University and a certificate in Advanced Crime Analysis from Portland State University.
